He who SPEAKS IN A TONGUE, speaks π§π’ ππ’π.
He who PROPHESIES, speaks π§π’ π ππ‘.
Tongues is Vertical. Prophecy is Horizontal.
Speaking in a tongue under the inspiration of Holy Spirit is in an unknown language that’s not understable to the hearer, but requires interpretation for the hearer to be understood.
Tongues does not require interpretation to be inspired by God.
Tongues requires interpretation to be understood.
Everyday we as believers needs to speak in tongues to be edified and built up.
Speaking in tongues is for all believers.
Biblical prophesying is speaking three things – edification, exhortation & comfort, under the inspiration of Holy Spirit in a known language understandable to the hearers.

In the midst of walking out the promises of the Lord, there will be opposition. Sometimes we dance through the Red Sea, but sometimes there are giants you have to kill. God has already equipped you with the power of Holy Spirit for the battle you’re going into. We don’t have to be afraid, because we know who holds the future. We are safe and secure in the strength and the might of our God.
His very nature is FAITHFULNESS. He’s firmly adhering to His duty. He is constant in performance.
He is trustworthy. He is True. He is the Truth. If God has spoken a promise to you – He’s good for it! We might miss it, but God never does. He is walking alongside of you.
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1 : 9 ESV

Tongues is not about memorizing syllables – it’s about making connection with Holy Spirit as our source to speak what the Father & Son are speaking. It empowers us, and gives us access to speak and pray when we do not know what to pray. It is speaking the “mysteries of heaven.”
Let Holy Spirit speak. Then speak what He’s telling you to say.

We are invited into this prophetic season – that all the sons and daughters begin to prophecy. Everyone of us has been divinely created by God to hear the voice of God, the voice of Holy Spirit – who is the greatest evangelist and searches the heart and thoughts of God, and His thoughts will change people’s lives. It’s time to engage our Creator. He’s calling us to full surrender. Our lack of response to the voice of God has consequences, because He has people He wants to reach through your life who comes in the power of God and operates in the ministry of reconciliation.
