OVERVIEW
What does it mean to be part of God’s family?
The Bible says that through faith in Jesus, we become sons and daughters of God. We belong to Him, and everyone who belongs to Jesus becomes part of one family.
In Galatians 3:28, Paul talks about different kinds of people. Some came from different nations and families. Some were rich and some were poor. Some were men and some were women. But Paul tells them something very important: “you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Our differences do not make one person more important to God than another. We do not have to compete with each other or push someone else down to feel important. Jesus wants His family to love, encourage, and build one another up.
The Bible also says that everyone who belongs to Jesus is part of one body. Just like your body has different parts that do different jobs, people in God’s family are different and can do different things. But we all need each other.
There is even more good news! Galatians 3:29 says that when we belong to Christ, we are heirs according to God’s promise. An heir is someone who receives what has been given to them. Because we are God’s children, He is our Father, and we can receive what He has promised through Jesus.
Jesus has already won the victory over the enemy. We do not have to live afraid. We can trust what Jesus has done and learn to live like sons and daughters who know they belong to their Father.
In this study, we will learn how to be one in Christ, live as one body, know that we belong to God’s family, trust Jesus’ victory, and receive what our Father has promised.

BIG WORDS
- One in Christ = Everyone who belongs to Jesus is joined together in Him.
- Body of Christ = All the people who belong to Jesus. We are different members, but together we are one body.
- Heir = Someone who receives what has been given or promised to them.
- Promise = Something someone says they will do. God always keeps His promises.
- Abba = A word for father that shows a close relationship.
- Authority = The right or power to act. Our spiritual authority comes from Jesus and His victory.

FINAL ENCOURAGEMENT
If you belong to Jesus, you are part of God’s family and one body in Christ.
You do not have to compete, compare, or push others down. You can love, encourage, and build others up.
Jesus has already won the victory, and God is your Father. You can trust Him, receive what He has promised, and remember who you are.
You are God’s child. You belong to His family. Be one in Christ.

Draw a big circle and write JESUS in the middle.
Around Jesus, draw several different people holding hands. Make them look different from one another. Above your picture write:

Then choose one person you can encourage, help, include, or show kindness to this week. Write their name underneath your picture and finish this sentence:
