I have a message for you today that I have in titled from expectation to manifestation. I think it has a nice ring to it. Do you? Hopefully there’ll be something else good about it rather than just the way it sounds. I believe that it is. I believe that that’s something that God is really, really wanting to to do in our lives is to bring us from a place of expecting great things from expectation to manifestation. So let’s go to our text this morning. We’re going to find it in psalms chapter two. I’m sorry, Best Church for kids in Norris City 62 and verses five and six. They’ve got it pulled up here for us. And so it says, my soul waits silently for God alone, for my expectation. There’s that word is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation. He is my defense. I shall not be moved. Amen. Thankful for the word this morning. Uh, but you know, the thing I want to ask and um, I think it’s a very relevant thing to ask. What are you believing God for? What are you expecting God to do?
It’s an important question. Some of you may have heard this quote before, and it is simply that the atmosphere of expectation is the breeding ground for miracles. How many of you know that God is always wanting to manifest? He’s always wanting to show up and show out when he does, Amen. He’s a big God and Best Church for kids in Norris City he has big things that he wants to do in our lives, but he’s looking for somebody who’s asking and expecting him to do what he wants to do. I find it so amazing that we serve this great God who is all powerful all knowing. I mean just everything, and yet he waits for us to connect with him. You know, I say it often, but that’s super on our natural is what makes us encounter the supernatural. He doesn’t just boom show up, but he waits for us to engage and we do that through expectation and I believe that God is wanting us to raise our level of expectation and in the days to come, he’s gonna want us to raise it even more? Amen? Because he’s wanting to do some things and he wants us to ask him to do them. To believe him for them and to engage with him through expectation. And so the scripture actually says in second chronicles 16, nine is this, that the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal or committed to him.
And so God is actually looking for somebody looking for somebody who’s committed to him looking for somebody who’s committed to his word and, and knows what he wants to do and what he has said and many things that he’s promised us as a body, but also as individuals. Very simple, but it’s just simply to look forward to, to regard as likely to happen or to anticipate the occurrence or the coming of something. And so when we’re expecting, we know that we’re looking forward to that. We are thinking about that and watching for it to come anytime. Amen. A joyful confidence expectation, and if you have an amplified Bible, that’s how you’re going to read it a lot of times, and so this is a hope that is not like the world has you know in the world we can hope and wish and hope it’ll all be okay and hope I’ll get when I’m asking God for and hope that this is all gonna Pan out.
Amen. But that hope is not the same hope that we read in the Bible. The hope and the Bible is that expectantly looking for it, it’s. It’s about this close to faith. You know what I mean? It’s about that close and it is to where we are at the place of not just maybe it’s all going to be all right, but I’m looking for this thing to happen in my life. I’m looking for God to move. I’m looking for God to do this and I’m doing it with a joyful, confident expectation. So what are you expecting to do too? Oftentimes we lose our expectation. We started out good, and then we turn loose for various reasons in life and we’ve all been there. Amen. I know we’re all in this together and due to a lot of past disappointments, sometimes it’s people or circumstances that have led us down and we go through life. We lose our hope and our expectation because of things that are here around. Best Church for kids in Norris City But remember what the song said when we turn and fix our eyes on him, everything else gets dim, fades in the background, and when we see Jesus, when we see him, the living word, the word of God,
everything else changes. But if we’re not careful, we can. We can just continue to look around and we put our hope in our. In our trust in people and instituations and and believed that things were gonna work out and maybe they haven’t and maybe they didn’t, and so now we’re we, we, we transfer that that we’ve experienced out here onto our God because we’re afraid to hope in anything good. We’re afraid to hope and what he says could happen and what he wants to happen, but God wants for us to hope and to expect. He wants us to connect and engage in that way with him. Amen. The scripture says in proverbs 13 verse two, it says, hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, Best Church for kids in Norris City it is a tree of life. And so hope deferred can make us sick. When we’ve waited for a long time and things haven’t worked and things haven’t turned out like we have expected them to. It can make our heart very sick and yet we have to remember where we put our hope in. You know, we can feel like we’re in a place of being denied when it’s just a delay. It’s just not happened yet, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t, but when we turn loose of that expectation and that confidence that God’s going to come through for us, that delay does become denial. Not because God said, I don’t want it for you, or I’ve changed my mind, or I’m disappointed in you or you’re not worthy of it, or guests want. It’s just not gonna happen.
But when we turn loose, then that prevents us from moving into that place from expectation to manifestation to where we see it, to where we have it in our hand and we’ve taken hold of it and God says, I don’t want you to lose your expectation just because you’ve been disappointed in people and in other things. God says, Best Church for kids in Norris City turn your eyes back to me. Look to me again and refocus and get back in there and start believing for things like you used to. Start believing me for things that you’ve never believed me for before. You know God’s going to need us to believe him for a lot of things.
And so we need to be engaging and practicing in this so that we can so that we can experience the things that he so readily has available for us. You know, God is not a man that he should lie, and so our expectation has to be based only on one thing, and that’s this. We know we hear this often, but our expectation has to be fixed on the word of God, not just on things that we think would be a good thing. There’s a lot of good things, but that don’t make them God things God. Things come from the word of God. God. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but God’s word will never pass away. Never, never, ever, ever. His word will abide and remain for ever. And you know, if we’re not careful, we can put our hope in a lot of things around us as I’ve already said, but all of that that is around us is nothing but shifting and sinking sand and there are people that we think are going to be a rock for us and there are places in situations that we think are just rock solid and stable for us and if we’re not careful, Best Church for kids in Norris City we’re going to find ourself in that shifting sand but not God’s word. What are you putting your expectation in? What or who? We can’t put our expectation in this world system or an anything in it. The economy is shaky. The political arena is shaky. Life in general, there’s everything is changing
and yet god is saying to us, he never changes his word never changes his word. Never, ever, ever, ever fails. It never fails, and so let’s think about what are we putting our hope in? What is our expectation in only him, in only his word is what’s going to make the difference. Amen. What to make a few points and then I’ll be finished so I won’t be long this morning, but I just want you to know that God absolutely wants to take you from that place of expectation into the manifestation of everything that he’s promised you and the first point that I want to make is that faith always begins with the word of God. That faith, that believing, that joyful expectation, Best Church for kids in Norris City it always begins with the word. In Romans 10, 17, it says, so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Those two little words there by actually are two different words and so I want to just break this down a little bit to help you understand why the hearing of the word is so important, but we realized that faith comes out of hearing and by and hearing, or through or by the means of the word of God. The second thing that we have to do, of course we have to so that in our heart and that happens through that reading and through that meditating and through that, that just staying in it, you know, meditating in it day and night and so we know this because we’ve been going through the growth series.
Amen. And hasn’t that been some good stuff? I’m still meditating on all of that and so the word gets sewn in our heart. It starts as a seed, but it’s a living seed and it’s very powerful. It’s the only thing that has the ability to change us and to change situations and circumstances in our lives. Well, the third point that I have for you, this is the one that’s not so fun and that is that we just have to wait.
I know I feel the same way about it. We’d have to wait. We don’t want to wait. We want it now. It’s good and we want it now. Why can’t we have it right now? You know, I find it interesting because sometimes supernaturally we can get a harvest. You know, we see it happen when we preach salvation many times that were disowned into somebody’s heart and the Holy Spirit just grows that up real fast and they’re ready to receive Jesus. Amen. But most of the time I have found in my walk with the Lord most of the time, the things that I’m believing him and expecting him to do. I have a little period of waiting time. I’ll have to go through anybody else out there with me or on my own. Here. We have to wait. Now I want to go back to psalm 62, verse five and just look at this again because it says, my soul wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from him, and so sometimes we just have to tell our soul, wait, I know you want it. Now. I know God has it for you, but you just have to wait. You know, our soul is what wants to give us a hard time because we want it. Best Church for kids in Norris City We want it. We want it now. We want it the way we want it, when we want it, and yet it doesn’t come that way, and so we just have to settle down
and joyfully and confidently expect that it’s still going to belong is still gonna manifest still gonna belong to us. It’s still going to come to us. Amen. There’s a scripture that says in Genesis Eight, 22, it says, while the earth remains seed, time and harvest, seed time, harvest. What’s between the seed and the harvest? What is it?
Yes, but the words themselves, what’s what’s between seed and harvest? Time. Word. That’s the word, and so there’s a lot of time that comes. I mean, we, we put the cdn but we don’t harvest it right away. There’s time that has to take place and I meditated on this for a while. Last week I was thinking about this and to put out a little tweet on it that says it’s that meantime in the middle that always challenges our faith. Amen. The meantime can be some meantime is hard on our flash. It’s hard on her soul. We don’t want to do what we have to do. We want it now and, and, and this is something that we’re just going to have to settle down and we’re going to have to learn how to do something. I’m going to have to learn how to do this. I’m doing this. Hey man, I’m learning to endure, learning to endure, endure hardness like a good soldier, endure hard things, endure hard places, Best Church for kids in Norris City endure. We’re gone, has us at at the moment, while we’re waiting for the manifestation, you see, if we give up in the, in the middle of we give up. In the meantime,
we don’t get to the manifestation. We all know that. Amen, and so what do we do to help us endure? What are some things there we’re all that we really need to to to take hold of, and Psalm 37 verse three through five if we can go there. It says, trust in the Lord and do good, dwell in the land and feed on his faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass. I think there’s a little bit of a clue here as to things that we can focus on while we’re waiting and while we’re enduring and one of the things he says is dwell in the land. Just stay where you are. Stay steady, steady, say stable where you are and begin to feed on my faithfulness, says the Lord. Feed on the faithfulness of who I am, Best Church for kids in Norris City of the integrity of my character and have my word that I’m not a man, that I should lie, that everything I ever spoke, I came through, I did what I said I would do. I’m a god of my word.
I say what I and I mean what I say and we can count on that we can count on him. And so he says, feed on his faithfulness. You know, there’s a whole lot of things that we can be feeding on. We can be feeding on a lot of negativity. We can be feeding on a lot of doubt, a lot of worry, a lot of fear, a lot of unbelief. Best Church for kids in Norris City What are we choosing to feed on? Because it’s in this waiting period. This is where we have the hard time. I mean like we’ve learned, we get excited about the beginning stage and we’re excited about the end stage, but that thing in the middle is just

is no fun is it? But that is the place where we grow up. But what the enemy will seek to do is to tempt us to begin to feed on everything else. Just pick a big spoonful of that stuff and just try to shove it in your mouth. Feed on little negativity. Listen to what this one is saying. Listen to what this one’s saying over here, um, the fear. Well, what if this doesn’t happen? Well, what if God doesn’t really want this for you? Well, what have you missed it? What if all of these things we, we feed on them by entertaining those thoughts and just by letting them remain there and going over and over and over, but we can’t feed on God’s faithfulness and all of this other stuff at the same time. That’s the thing that we have to remember to do, is to feed on the faithfulness.

He said, delight yourself also in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart, those desires that you are expecting to come to pass there from God. They’re the things that he’s placed inside of you when you’re loyal and committed to him, you love him and you want what he wants for you. You can trust that those desires are from him and he says to delight himself, delight yourself in him that we’re delighted actually means to be soft and to be fragile. Keep your heart soft, be fragile and sensitive. It needs to be sensitive. Be Sensitive to God and be be joyful and joyfully, confidently waiting and expecting. He says, commit your way to him. Wiggle back and we remind ourself of all the things that he’s done that he’s been faithful to, to bring about in our lives. We think on those things. That’s how we feed ourself with the faithfulness of God and know that he is going to do what he said he would do. And Hebrews 10 verse 23, it says, let us hold fast. The confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful, for he who promised is faithful. That’s why we could hold on. That’s why we don’t have to turn loose. That’s why we don’t have to get weary in the weight. Amen. And so we, we think about that and we meditated.
The next thing we have to do is to guard against the weariness that comes in. How many of you know that the enemy just wants to wear you plumb out? Yeah, I can relate. He just wants to wear us out because he knows that he can get us weary that we’re not going to receive. Galatians six. Nine says, let us not grow weary in well doing. In doing what we know to do for in due season will receive. If we. What if we faint not. If we don’t give up, if we don’t decide to quit, if we don’t decide, Best Church for kids in Norris City this is too hard and this is not worth it, and so we have to sometimes encourage ourself in the Lord. We got to speak to our soul. Amen. Soul, you’re gonna. Wait, so you’re going to settle down. So you’re going to strengthen yourself and encourage yourself in the Lord. The next thing that we have to do is we have to receive the manifestation. We kind of be looking for it. We’re going to be looking for it and eagerly anticipating
be watching at anytime it could happen. How many of you liked those? Suddenly moments, those suddenlys my husband and I, we got to suddenly, not too long ago, but that suddenly came at the end of a long season of waiting and then suddenly we had an answer, but man, it was sure attempting to give up. I’m talking about a long wait and some of you have been waiting for a long time for some things to happen. Some of you been waiting maybe for years. That’s what it was for us. And the sad thing is they’re still under things that we’re still waiting for four years,
but from the time of expectation, because God said it, and when he says it, Best Church for kids in Norris City you can take it and you can hold onto it. I don’t care if it takes from now until eternity is over
and it won’t. I promise you, I don’t know how long it’s gonna take and you don’t know how long it’s gonna take, but God has an appointed time. He has a set time. He has a an appointment with you to where that thing is going to come into full manifestation, but in the meantime it’s not ready and you’re not ready for it. It’s still growing. It’s growing. It’s getting bigger on the inside of you and God and saying, I’m on a manifest what you been expecting, but you got to keep looking. You got to keep believing you gotta. So what are you believe in God?
And if you haven’t been believing anything, it’s time to start believing. You know, I have found in my own life and I think that I’m pretty normal like the rest of you, I hope. I hope I’m normal. I don’t know. I wonder sometimes what normal is, but you know, for, for those of us who live in life, I find that there’s certain areas to where we’re trusting and believing God, you know, areas that we have of struggle and have difficulty in this life, and usually it’s in the area of healing for physical body. Sometimes it’s for for our emotions, for inner healing, and I don’t have time to go through all the scriptures that can tell us what God’s will is to heal us. Best Church for kids in Norris City He sent his word and healed all of our diseases that he bore stripes, Jesus bore stripes on his body from Isaiah 53 that we are healed and then that’s the old testament and then in the New Testament, first Peter 2:24 says that by his stripes we were healed so he already considered it done. We just have to

He’s waiting for us to engage in, receive the answer, whether it’s for physical healing while there, whether it’s for emotional, there’s, there’s hurts and wounds and things that we’ve not always dealt with and we’re bleeding on the inside. So many of us are, are hurt on the inside, but God says he wants to heal us and he wants to expect him to heal us Best Church for kids in Norris City physically and emotionally and mentally and any other area of our life, another area. Maybe it’s just in our finances. I find there’s been times
when financially it’s been like, God, I need a miracle here. And you know, I read in the Bible to where, uh, some men went fishing and caught and got a coin. They needed to pay their taxes and they, and they got a fish with a coin in his mouth and just happened to be just enough to pay their taxes. Come on the god of the Old Testament, the god of the Gospels, the God of the scriptures from cover to cover is still the same God today. He’s a miracle working god. He’s expecting, he’s wanting us to expect him. What is your impossibility today? God says, if you can dare to believe, if you can expect for me to do what I said, I would do know that it will come to you in full manifestation. He wants us to know beyond the shadow of a doubt that he’s the god of all hope. He is the god of our expectation is the god of all glory. He’s the god of miracles for now, for signs and wonders and miracles to be done. Why? So that his name can be exalted. When he gives us signs and miracles, it’s a sign that’s showing people how to get to Jesus. It’s showing the way is to him and when he does things like that, so he specializes in it, but he says, I need you to engage with me. Because I want to move you into the greater faith, into another level of faith, to where you can start believing not just for yourself, but now your faith is at a level you can begin to believe for others. He wants to move in the lives of his people and he’s counting on us to partner with him. He’s counting on us to expect him to do mighty mighty things
and one way disengage his eyes, have to go looking elsewhere for somebody else to show himself strong too because we’re not willing to do the part that we have to do. Are you with me this morning? God is wanting to raise the level of expectation in us as the body and as individuals. He wants us to raise the bar to come up higher Best Church for kids in Norris City belief for more things. Believe what he said he would do
from expectation to manifestation and and we’re expecting and we’re expecting and we’re waiting and we’re waiting, but how are we waiting? We’re waiting. Well, we’re not waiting. Griping, murmuring, complaining, feeding on negativity. We’re waiting with joyful, confident, expectation. Amen. Don’t lose your joy. Do you know your joy is what gives you the strength to take you through the waiting season so joyfully hold onto your joy confidently. Do I know when he’s going to do it? Well, as far as I’m concerned is already done. It’s now and I’m just waiting for the manifestor
station of it and guess what? Boom, suddenly comes the manifestation and so and then God receives glory and honor and people are blessed and we have our needs met. Hallelujah. Why do you believe in God for what are you expecting God to do? May Not be in healing maybe and maybe not in finances. Maybe it’s in relationships. Maybe God is just wanting you to believe him for reconciliation or restoration of a relationship. These are the areas where I think are common to all of us. Maybe it’s for what he’s promised you as it relates to your destiny, into your life’s purpose. I don’t know. That’s why I’m asking you what are you believing God for and what are you expecting? Because that expectation will take you to the manifestation if you don’t give up, and if you wait, well, Hallelujah. Best Church for kids in Norris City Thank you Jesus. It’s a worship team could come on in, had a few areas that I really feel like the Lord wants to minister this morning in addition to whatever he’s been saying to you, just in the message, and I believe that there are some here today, sit. Need to have your expectation revived. Some of you been through a lot of disappointments. Some of you’ve lost sight of your hope and you’ve entered into that place of hopelessness, but God wants to revive your sense of expectation, wants to, wants to get you to a place to where you’re willing to Best Church for kids in Norris City believe.
