Spiritual Authority: Restored In Christ โ€” Each Has a Work and a Fire

Message from Chad Everett

OVERVIEW

This week, we learned that God has given every believer two important things:
๐Ÿ‘‰ a work to do
๐Ÿ‘‰ and the fire of the Holy Spirit to help them do it.

Jesus taught His followers to stay close to Him, keep praying, and be ready for His return. We also learned that God does not want us to live distracted, afraid, or spiritually asleep.

The Holy Spirit helps believers:

  • follow Jesus,
  • stay strong,
  • do what God asks,
  • and keep going even when life is hard.

We also learned that God uses His fire to help change us and make us more like Jesus.

Most importantly, we learned this truth:

๐Ÿ‘‰ God has a purpose for every believer.
๐Ÿ‘‰ God gives His Spirit to help us finish faithfully.

โ€œEach has a work and each has a fire.โ€

ย ๐Ÿ“– MEMORY VERSE

โ€œAnd what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!โ€
โ€” Mark 13:37
