The Return of Jesus – Don’t Be Deceived, Be Ready
Spiritual Authority – Restored In Christ
Message from Chad Everett
OVERVIEW
This week, we are learning about something very important, Jesus is coming back. Before we understand what is coming, we need to understand what God already told us in the Bible. God gave Daniel a plan for the future, and part of that plan has already happened exactly the way God said.
God’s Timeline (Made Simple)
God’s Plan for the World
God told Daniel there would be a timeline of 70 weeks (a long period of time) for His people (Daniel 9:24–26). Most of that plan already happened when Jesus came the first time.
One Part Is Still Coming
There is one final part left, a future 7-year time (Daniel 9:27).
Something Happens in the Middle
Halfway through that time (3½ years), something very bad happens called the abomination of desolation (Matthew 24:15). This is when things begin to change.
A Hard Time on Earth
After that, there will be a very difficult time on the earth called tribulation (Matthew 24:21).
Then Jesus Returns
After that time, Jesus will come back in the clouds with power and glory, and everyone will see Him (Matthew 24:29–30).
A Loud Trumpet and Gathering
When Jesus comes, there will be a loud trumpet sound, and He will gather His people to be with Him (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).
That means:
👉 God knows what is happening
👉 God knows what is coming
👉 God’s Word helps us understand what is true

The Bible teaches us to say, “Maranatha,” which means “Come, Lord Jesus.” It reminds us that we are waiting for Him and ready for Him.
Stay close to Jesus. Trust God’s Word. Be ready.
