As Justin was sharing in the opening today, he said that we are more than conquerors through Christ. And as I was sitting there, the Lord just began to move upon my heart, and He began to remind me of the church of Philadelphia.
In Revelation 10, it says, “Because you have kept My word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.” He says, “I’m coming soon. Hold fast what you have so that no one may seize your crown. The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God. Never shall he go out of it. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which is coming down from My God out of heaven, and My own new name.”
And I felt the Lord was saying this morning that this is not the hour to have fickle faith. This is the hour to have tight, firm, conquering faith for the body of Christ. This is not the hour to be loose in our thoughts. It’s not the hour to be loose in our feelings. It’s an hour to be conquering in our faith.
The enemy wants to seize your crown, but God says, “Hold on to what you have. Keep the word of the endurance of faith and patience.”
And I just want to encourage us today that you were born for adversity, and you were born for conflict. And God says that His church and His bride is born for this hour.
It’s time to enlist. For those that have been taking the back seat, for those that have been sitting on the sidelines—it’s time to enlist into the army of God. It’s time to take a stand for our family. It’s time to take a stand for our region. It is time to take a stand for Illinois. It is time to take a stand for the United States of America.
And only through the blood of Jesus—and those that keep the faith and the endurance. Anybody got endurance in this place? Does anybody need endurance in your life today? Come on.
We just thank You, Holy Spirit.
And Father, I impart right now—Lord, I just thank You for a firm impartation of conquering faith over the bride of Christ right now. God, I pray that You will tighten every loose area. That every area that is loose right now—we will not be people of fickle faith. That we will be people of strong faith, conquering faith, mighty faith, preserving faith, and faith of perseverance.
In Jesus’ name.
